I am passionate about the Japanese form peonies, and ‘Doreen’ is a lovely example with her big, fragrant flowers. Opening rose pink with a bright gold centre, they age to baby pink, displaying a blend of pink shades all at once, and creating a stunning focal point in the landscape. With a vigorous habit, strong stems and a medium sized frame, she is another great garden peony, flowering for a very long period, beginning mid season. Floriferous, weather-tolerant and easy to grow, she also lasts really well in the vase. Awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit 2021. 90cm.
