A rockstar among peonies, ’Gilded Splendour’ is an incredible example of a Japanese-type flower. To gaze upon her is to imagine an artist delicately tracing the edge of each staminoid in gold, the effect of which is utterly gorgeous and quite unique. Flowering mid season, this is both a rare and very special variety, and a great garden performer. 90cm.
