‘Inspecteur Lavergne’

Another gorgeous, French heirloom variety, 'Inspecteur Lavergne' is a blend of colours that is hard to photograph accurately. In the sun he appears a bright magenta red, whereas in the shade he takes on a distinct hint of purple. As the blooms age, the petals turn silver at the edges, adding a pleasing frosted appearance to the display. Dark stems, deep green foliage and a neatly spreading habit make for a great garden performance, and a long vase life adds to the versatility. Unusually fragrant for a red, flowering occurs mid season. 80cm
