Itoh ‘Bartzella’

A phenomenal peony of massive proportions, 'Bartzella' represents everything that is impressive about Itoh or intersectional peonies. The flowers are huge and the colour sensational, and they are displayed to perfection on a neat, dome-shaped bush. The fragrant blooms cut well for the vase, and the plant is a useful low, informal hedge or garden feature. Awarded the American Peony Society's Gold Medal in 2006, the Award of Landscape Merit in 2009 and the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. Mid season. 100cm.
