Though the colour has existed in tree peonies for millennia, for many years, quality yellow herbaceous peonies were the Holy Grail for breeders, cut flower growers and gardeners alike. Intersectional hybrids were still experimental, and it wasn't until the eighties and nineties, that advances in breeding gave us the first reliable true yellow herbaceous and Itoh peonies. I'm delighted to bring you the best of them in this collection.
